Why is Lighting Effects filter making these artifacts?
I am trying to turn a violin into gold, like how I did the ship's wheel, and it works OK, except that when I blow it up to 100%, there's all these squiggly artifacts in it! After turning the silver to gold, and Overlaying it onto the original, it's not so obvious, but still there.

It's due to the way the Lighting Effects engine now works. It's different to how it was in CS6. One way to fix it might be to use Surface Blur on the violin first, which could help to smooth out the surface.

Sorry I took so long to get back on here. Thank you very much. Yes, blur helps somewhat, but not completely. However, the result is much better.
