Inflated Mushicat's dream
I tried running the Spherize filter a second time on the catnip but it just looked larger. Then I thought of the old-fashioned way to distort something: Inflate in Image Warp. Does this look more like you would expect? _________________ I'm still learning. |

looks ok , im no expert but someone else might say diferent, but could you add same light areas as the gold skull on the right, and maybe a warped layer of window fram, or some gold reflecting on the sphere, or if it your room could you put a glass to see what reflects and add the same. but i still like it "well done" AND SOME GAUSSIAN ETC. |

You know that when using the spherise filter you should do it through a selection to confine it to exactly and only the part you want to spherise. I think you could tighten your selection just a tiny bit and then spherise a little bit more so the top and bottom are pulled tighter together. But that's pure speculation on my part ..... _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

I achieved this effect by simply choosing Edit from the main menu, and selecting Warp on the playing card selection. |
