A rainy problem
Although it is quite clear what I was trying to achieve here, it is equally clear that I haven't really pulled it off. So why? Is it because the very nature of the subject requires too much suspension of disbelief to ever be 'convincing' ...... or is it more technical than that? Although there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that this could be improved, I am at a loss as to how. Bright suggestions anyone? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: A rainy problem
It does work, actually rather well. It might help to add a tint to the curtain of rain, accentuating the gap in the curtain? |

Very nice indeed David... I also think it works extremely well. |

Re: A rainy problem
Thank you Steve and Loyd for your positive comments. I am delighted that you apparently feel I have managed this better than I feel myself. I shall certainly follow up on your suggestion Steve but perhaps slightly less colourised. It certainly does help underline the idea. It is always so hard to assess your own work because of "standing too close". You have both been most encouraging. My apologies for being rather slow to respond to your swift replies but I am a bit overloaded at present. Thank you.
