Re: Anomalies
Well I've spotted quite a few of the obvious one's. But I am well shy of twenty eight. I'm not going spoil things for others by listing them here. However there are lots of smaller details I quite simply can't make out well enough. Do you have a higher res you can post?

Re: Anomalies
Ah! Most of us use image hosting such as Flickr. The image which can be pretty much as large as you like resides on their site and a link to it is posted here on HTCP. That way HTCP and Steve are only hosting the link not the image. The link provided by the host site is a 'live' link so the image is embedded directly here on HTCP without needing to click anything. It will show initially in the standard HTCP size but clicking it will take you to the full size high res.

Flickr used to be free but now make a small charge. There are other providers who other members here use. If any of them see this they may be able to help you with other suggestions. Otherwise a quick web search for 'Image Hosting' should net you quite a few possibilities.

A lot of us here find it good to be able to circumvent the inbuilt image size limit when we enter challenge images.

Re: Anomalies
It is to small to study. There are various items that are obvious but others, one would need to scrutinize with a magnifying glass. What's more defined than a magnifying glass? Steve's eye...lol. Interesting image David. Post a link to a bigger pic.

Re: Anomalies
I got 18. But as has been said, hard to see at such a small size!

Re: Anomalies
Select the high res image and press Ctrl + to zoom in.
Ctrl - to zoom out, Ctrl 0 to return to normal.

Re: Anomalies
Splendid! I’ve spotted 27 anomalies. These are really good - and some of the more subtle ones are particularly well thought out.

I’d list them here but I don’t want to spoil it for others…

Re: Anomalies
Twenty five ..... I think ........

As I said on first viewing I am not listing them so as to leave it open for everyone.

I have a feeling some of the anomalies are label dependent. I see you are in Australia and some of them are not recognisable to me as a European.

Great fun and very well done!

I hope at some point, when everyone has had a chance to respond, you will publish the full list.

That is a good point re labels, and different customs, Americans would scowl at only 1 piece of bacon. A couple of changes are a bit ambiguous and are more unusual than anomaly, eg an image of me is there, and some may involve time. Thank you for looking David and yes I will pop up the list end of the month. Ben Down Under.

A lot of my choices did. I took the 'ground zero' of this image to be the nineteen fifties. Quite a lot of my picks are objects anomalous relative to this.

Don't let on now. I will wait to see if I've been misguided when the list is published.

Re: Anomalies
Oh, much better, thanks. I got lost a couple times and needed to go back and make a point where I had checked. I got in the mid 20's. That tells you that I got lost again...lol.
