Hehe - actually it's a retouched version of the guard person from the Perspective tutorial on Steve's disc - unless of course you have also been a Sercurity Guard/Photographic Model in your line of work

Nope, I've never been either a security guard or photographic model but the character is a remarkable resemblance of myself. I was wondering where you got a profile view of me!

The work is finished! It was a very interesting site to be restored!
The tool "Vanishing point" has been very useful for creating the ceiling and the wall paneling.
The floor is a noise, whith a very light vertical motion blur.
The main challenge for me is to work in low resolution.
The people are drawn from Stockbyte "Working bodies CD."

There is so much excellence on this forum, every work is worthy of comment. Some works are just brilliant. Whatever ones standard of achievement, acknowledgement off effort is always encouraging. The weekly critique is itself an education, with much to be be learned from it. Thank you Steve. Thank you everyone.

James

I would like to agree with you whole heatedly. The weekly critique of course is the best education wise, but just looking at the different people's ideas and perspectives is an education, and food for thought.

Things were going pretty well to start off with... and then, not so good! Sometimes I wish I could just reach into the desktop and do this:

I also agree with what James said... a lot of great imagination and skill here! It's always interesting to see what everyone comes up with and to receive feedback/critiques from Steve and others to help improve.

Maiden... think yours is really funny! And Whaler... those poor people... hope they had fire and flood insurance!

Thanks Neil. It would be a heck of a commute but you have to go where the stairs are!

Hats off to all those who have done this challenge. I started it then have had to give up due to lack of time. A difficult one.
And James I also agree with your comment.

James,
May I also add that I do agree with your comments. I have seen your own work come along very nicely over the last few months since you joined.

Should Steve ever have one of his forums in this country I hope we all get to meet up there.

Let's hope so. I was thinking of the people in southern England and/or Wales when I made the picture.
And I really like your entry, hi-liter
