Challenge 259: Moon landing
A bit late with this one - the 40th anniversary of the moon landing was last week, and I really should have seen it coming. I was intrigued by a radio interview I heard with some professor of something or other, who claims the landings were all faked. Something to do with the angles of the shadows not being right, or the quality of the light. So I thought: how easy is it to fake a moon landing? Can you take this classic shot, and add or remove elements so that we can't tell the real image from the fakery? Pay close attention to lighting and shadow this week! High res is here. |

Love it stefan! GKB, I am amused to see you are nevertheless checking in while on holiday. Hope it's a good one. I paid £20 to 3 mobile for internet access while in a rather remote part of Portugal and was thrilled when it worked. But it only bought me about 35 minutes! |

McDonalds needed a 'space' concept for the sixties and at NASA they liked the idea. |

NASA had deep concerns that the mission was not being taken seriously enough. |

Re: Challenge 259: Moon landing
Thanks Stefan. I like your idea also. Is the man with camera from Steve's fullmontage page? Thanks Nick. I thought that someone could have the same idea. Why did not you do it also? Lonnie I like the atmosphere of your picture. Especially the director shouting MAKEUP! The ladder at the Earth is great idea. My first idea was something like that. |

Re: Challenge 259: Moon landing
LOL thanks James. Very strange things started happening after the comet hit Jupiter - if you look closer, even the flag stopped waving _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |
