Hi Sue. Welcome!

You can post as big as you like as long as the file size doesn't exceed 120MB. The image dimensions can be what you like but I think it won't display bigger than a certain size regardless of the actual image size. This is presuming you simply post the file directly here using the Attach button.

The way round this limitation is to upload elsewhere to your own online image storage or to use an on line image service like Flickr and then link to it. There a whole heap of providers out there and I have no idea which are the best. I use Flickr. For my modest needs it's free. You can post as big as you like there (both pixels and MB's) and then live link to the image from here. This will make the image appear here as if it was posted directly without needing to see or click its link. You can keep the image completely private from other Flickr users and restrict it only to those who have a direct link to it. Such as the one you would post here. My image above has been done this way. If you go to my original image post and click reply you can see the code I used to do this. The image service themselves will supply the necessary code for your particular image that you can simply Copy and Paste to here.

Steve hosts hundreds of images here and the size limit prevents his storage going completely through the roof .... although it must be very hefty indeed. The advantage of the system above is that the image is hosted by you using your own space and all Steve has to host is the link to it.

If you need to know more about how to do this post a request in the 'problems' section or somewhere similar and I, or someone, will give you more precise directions. That way, although we all wander regularly all over the place with asides, we don't clog this Challenge section with too much other stuff ........ well not too often anyway ......

If you go here and and scroll down to the second entry you will see a challenge where I got more than a little carried away and posted a mighty 4000 x 1000 pixels which at 100% is too large to even fit on my 30" Apple monitor without scrolling. This really is posting BIG but the overhead for Steve is just one line of text.

The first one who can name all the faces gets an A+ in American politics, and a bottle of aspirin!

Just guessing but

Vladimir Putin
# 45
Jeff Sessions hanging above the bed
Cruella de Vile (aka Kelly-Anne Conway)
Mitch McConnell. You can barely see his strings
An invertebrate
Someone who is head and shoulders above all but one of these guys (Abraham Lincoln)
The one who IS head and shoulders above these people, Barak Obama
‘It takes a special kind of stupid to lose Alabama to the Democrats’ Bannon
The guy with the rifle – is that Lee Harvey Oswald?
The guy with the knife – the FBI are checking out more than half of the US population for that one but it could be Michael Flynn
I couldn’t see a reflection in the mirror so that’s probably Stephen Miller
The Russian Mafia disguised as a pile of cash
George Papadopoulos was there but he has gone to get the coffee
Paul Manafort couldn’t make it for the photo as he was otherwise detained

Do you have anything stronger than aspirin?

Once again I have to submit a short, simple animation because I've been working extra hours. I know for a fact at the very least the late Victorians had indoor plumbing. Surely, there is a proper bathroom in the building. However, given his age, Charles might not want to walk down a long corridor in the middle of the night.

Linda I like your dinner table. Your WC sign makes you one of the very few who is "bang on message".
I loved the view from your last challenge and wish our house had scenery like that.

Re: Challenge 690: The monarch's bed
First to enter the royal bedchamber was lwc, with an extremely rapid entry - and a splendid bathroom addition, complete with royal crest on the wall. The tone and lighting are excellent, but I do have to take issue with your perspective: look at the angle of the bedstead and top of the door, compared to the shelves in the bathroom. A fiddly fix, but not impossible. Oh - and far too much perspective distortion on that crest! But I really like the splendid animated lighting in the second entry - beautifully achieved, with much subtlety.

I enjoyed Ant Snell's regal addition, in the form of a rather fine 'throne' - and of course there's Chuck and Camilla in the background. The zimmer frame is a very cute touch!

A glorious entry from DavidMac, with much cavorting plundered from the canon of raunchy paintings. And there's Charles and Camilla in the thick of it... a terrific piece of work, beautifully achieved.

At least michael sinclair's entry starts off relevant, before he rolls down something entirely off-topic. Still, I can see that he wanted to play with his new propeller toy. I think a touch more blur would help them to look less oscillating. Not sure planes rise the way yours does in the second entry, unless they're full of helium.

She may only have been with us a couple of weeks, but Sue.Martin is clearly a force to be reckoned with. Here, she presents a cast of many current political figures, all artfully slotted into the scene. Nice one, Sue!

Some rather fine chandeliers from tooquilos, with a sparkling crown and sceptre awaiting the sleeping monarch-to-be. Wouldn't the chandeliers all be hung at the same height, though? Just a thought. Splendid 3D title on the animated version, and some fine tossing and turning from the sleeping queen... the scene in the carriage is especially convincing, and I enjoyed the spinning newspaper. What fun. (And a great riposte to Michael Sinclair in the second entry!)

Linda Eckert has filled the scene with warning signs - and quite right too, they don't want any old riff raff soiling the furniture. I was most impressed with the way the table has been laid - perfectly fitting the scene.

A dark scene from srawland, with a very nicely removed barrier and an added commode and towel - subtly done, indeed. I like the soundtrack in the (not quite) animated version.

I see Mariner has let the decorators in - just what the old place needed, some new curtains and a splash of purple. The removal of all but two of the chairs around the table (and indeed, of the extra table) is masterful, and that dress draped over the chair is a great touch. Like the tarot cards!

Entertaining work this week.

Thank you Steve. Yes you are right about the chandeliers. I should of placed them over the existing ones.

Sara, in your video, is that an image of Princess Diana that appears in the frame?

Thank you, Steve, but if you look carefully, you can see Charles' chest rise and fall, and look at the mirror.
