Still not there. The only thing was the juxtaposition of black white could be 'We and Dem' but that doesn't fit with your clue.

As for clues you don't get any more for "Free Man!"

You have managed to make the unnatural shininess work. In this context it simply makes him look hot.

Thank you - he did look a bit on the sweaty side!

Deleted the other picture. It needed a bit more tweaking. The head looked a bit small etc

Dwindt & David, Really good star with the song titles, still a couple un-guessed in there. As for the poster on the gate, I could give you a clue but that would be a “get out of jail” for you. Whoops!
I’ll post full list at the end of the week.

From your clue, it seems "Jailhouse" should be included. I wonder if the banners in there don't lean towards "Revolution" as well. With all the foliage around Marley's house may I throw in "Concrete jungle?"

Interesting variation of Entries.
(Sorry, but eventually back and with relief have some time for an entry this week....)

Redemption Song - Bob Marley - Song of Freedom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOFu6b3w6c0

Redemption Song
Bob Marley

Old pirates, yes, they rob I
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit
But my hand was made strong
By the hand of the Almighty
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom?
'Cause all I ever have
Redemption songs
Redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
'Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look? Ooh
Some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the Book
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom?
'Cause all I ever have
Redemption songs
Redemption songs
Redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Wo! Have no fear for atomic energy
'Cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look?
Yes, some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the book
Won't you have to sing
These songs of freedom?
'Cause all I ever had
Redemption songs
All I ever had
Redemption songs
These songs of freedom
Songs of freedom

I'm sure Michael Sinclair will not find this up to standard. I'm still working extra hours and didn't have the time I'd like to spend on this. Also, I know Marley died when personal computers were in their infancy.

Well obviously I cannot speak for Michael, but I beg to differ!

I think this is possibly the most relaxed and believable human figure animation I have ever seen from you. Full marks from me!

Sara, the Bob Marley is so lifelike: it's well up to standard!!! And incidentally, the quality of your lifelike figures is so good that you can afford to make them larger--easily!!!

Linda, second week running you have produced good results

Nice work as usual Anna

Michael I love it!!!

Kudos to all those who managed to put in the "missing" feet.

I have run out of time this week; hence, the "awkward-looking effort, either that or he has had too many spliffs

Thank you, Michael and David.

However, I cant fully claim credit. Fuse does most of the work and I fear if he was larger you would see he wasn't lifelike. The movements are courtesy of Mixamo. I did have a choice on how fast and some leeway with hand placement, but mostly its some anonymous coder who needs the credit.

Re: Challenge 692:Marley's ghost
First up this week was DavidMac, with a fine studio shot - Marley looks right at home with Jimmy Cliff. Very neatly done. And a tremendous anecdote to go with it!

A highly entertaining visual quiz from Ant Snell, full of Marley references. I think dwindt and DavidMac between them got them all… I really enjoy this sort of quiz, so many thanks for entertaining us with it!

Some hazy swirls in red, gold and green from dwindt, and I like the way they wrap around him. But couldn’t the poor man have a chair? I like the reworked arm and the new hair - very nicely done.

A literal Marley’s ghost from Josephine Harvatt - and, you know, he does rather well in that role. Remarkably well integrated into that body - position, angle and colouring are perfect. The shell in the second entry works well, and the new hair is nicely arranged on his shoulder.

The dog in lwc's entry is a funny addition - especially with its dreadlocks. A fun image, and the movement is good and smooth. His head very nearly fits the poster in the second entry - is it still a bit small, perhaps? And too saturated for the body? A clever second entry, featuring your first entry on the wall - a cute touch.

An interesting entry from tooquilos - I do like the Marley clone in the background. The hand movements of the Fuse model fit the song really well in the animated version - such a shame you couldn’t get lip sync! The sculptor is fun, and the struggle with the van outside Madame Tussauds is really nicely done.

Guest appearances from Cheech and Chong in Darren's entry - now there’s a pair I haven’t thought of for many years. And Bob slots right in on the back seat, with an artfully moved arm. Nice work.

Very neat positioning from Linda Eckert - the shadow is especially good here. But what is he sitting on? It can’t be a lump of rock, or we’d see its shadow too. I like the new feet!

A great pair of new legs from Mariner, with a couple of admirers enjoying the new dreadlocks. A very neat composition - the scissors and Red Stripe bottles fit in well. But why is he perched on a stool on top of a sun lounger?

Another floater from Jota120… great background, Trevor, but give the man something to sit on!

A groovy animation from srawland, wisely deciding to end it before the lyrics kick in - due to lack of lip sync in Fuse models. He’s very nicely placed behind that glass. And I like the subtle motion of the sound engineer.

Well, michael sinclair may have “run out of time”, but it’s still a fun animation - I like the arm movement in particular, although the forearm is perhaps a touch too rubbery. Or maybe that’s because he’s a waxwork. Did you use Puppet Warp for this?
