Challenge 709: The Mardi Gras Shark
One of the interesting places I visited in New Orleans was Mardi Gras World, the workshop where they make most of the floats and decorations for the city's iconic festival.

Here's a very small selection of the (literally) thousands of vast models they keep in their warehouse:

The workshop tour included a selection of objects that have been carved out of styrofoam, but not yet painted. Can you finish the job? And find a suitable location for this splendid shark?

High res is here.

Steve, you should have been down on Bourbon Street with GKB, listening to the jazz and chilling out.

Re: Challenge 709: The Mardi Gras Shark
This reflects John Gay's original English 18th century musical play rather more than Berthold Brecht and Kurt Weill's 20th century re-write of the Beggar's Opera. Although this particular song was written specifically for the latter and did not feature in the original. The German lyrics were much darker and more violent that those popularised in the English versions of the song.

Save that for the next pub trivia quiz ..........

Hey, great to see you back again Deborah. I hope that all is ok.

If I didn't have both Friday and Monday off, I would be submitting this at the last minute. The water looks a lot better in the animation.
