Thanks Sara, Gordon, David. Yes David, Mariner Does nice work and usually doesn't miss much in small details. Sara, laughed at your "Ass In The Grass". 👍 Gordon, Thanks for link - will come in handy I'm sure. Needless to say, Anna's work is always impressive. |

Frank, that is excellent! Sara, in regards to the mirror function..I guess you could convert the layer into a 3D layer then rotate it 180 deg on the Y axis? Give that a go. Ive deleted my version of Hitfilm so I can't test it but its similar to AE in a lot of respects. _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

Thanks David. It was crucial for a good effect and I still don't know if I overdid it or not. Steve can decide. |

Not really - just sitting on five entries till the evening. A couple of goodies (I hope) and others which are more word play than interesting photoshopping and from which four puns have already been used during the week in one form or another by others. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

I get my sound effects from here: http://freesound.org/browse/tags/sound-effects/ It's sort of a Wikipedia of sound effects. Individuals, many of them students, upload sounds they have recorded. All the sounds have Creative Commons licenses. Most require attribution which is why I always have credits at the end of my animations. _________________ I'm still learning. |

Re: Challenge 765: Lark in the Park
A Guinness truck overturned upstream, spilling it's contents into the Lark River. Drinking from the Lark gave the ducks quack a distinctive 'quarck', and that's how the Fancy Duck Show mascot got his name... 'Quarck' not Donald or Boris. Either that or I just needed it to rhyme. After all, if in British english one can rhyme 'clerk' with 'park', I thought... 'why not?' |

Re: Challenge 765: Lark in the Park
I looked at 'quarck' but couldn't get beyond atomic physics or a kind of sour cream much loved in Germany. Neither seamed too promising ...... Guinness fed duck! Ah, I see .......... company for the 'foie gras' goose. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

OK it's 5:00 PM here. I think I can start posting. Steve this is very naughty but for some reason this just worked for me. Because a very simple image is often all that's needed to illustrate a word play they come very quickly. I'll not make a habit of throwing huge numbers of entries at single challenge in future. Not surprisingly most of my my puns here have been used already ............. I shall post in my own order of preference from feeblest to best. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Clerk in the Park
The ghastly office photograph. You know the one you really don't want to be in but can't say no for fear of being thought a spoil sport. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Arc in the Park
This one gave me a lot of satisfaction. In researching photos I discovered that quite a few searchlight operators were women. Didn't find one who could fit here though. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
