Challenge 768: The death aisle
I've had wasps in the attic. So I went to my local DIY store and bought some wasp killer. While I was there I noticed that the entire aisle was devoted to death: slaughtering not just wasps but flies, ants, spiders, mice, rats, moles, moths, and any number of creepy crawlies.

What would happen if some of these pests were to rise up and face their oppressors?

High res is here.

This is not even a quickie because I didn't have to do anything. This photo of me is one hundred percent real un-retouched. Taken during a night shooting in Mahabaleshwar in India. The moths were attracted by our bright lights and by my white top.

Annoyingly I shall have to bow out for a while as the computer is at the menders (yes I know - should have got a mac) looking forward to seeing everyone’s work though

A quick one from me. I want to have time to work on the previous animation. If I'm going to make a video statement, it should be a little more polished.

I suspect we are in for quite a variety of giant bugs this week.

That foreground ant needs to go to the hairdresser - de-fringe .....

Love the background swarm.

Ha! My plan was for an overall green fog/smoke layer thus eliminating any worry about fringing. Unfortunately the file rendered at 35mb... and the easiest fix was to remove the green cast. I didn't want to start over from square one, so, 'it is what it is', it still ended up at 22+ mb. (I was tired of ants!) It also was used for the goggles in the first entry.
