Re: Challenge 771: Air apparent
Ooooohhh David - I really hoped that no-one would raise that idea. I figured that I had already done enough work on this one so I skipped the idea mainly because I couldn’t get Cinema to inflate and deflate without crashing. I had to cheat with the other inflations using Photoshop which doesn’t do the job properly. Now that you have said that i’ll have to go back and try again. I hope you’re going to explain this to my wife. _________________ Time flies like an arrow but fruit flies like a banana. |

Which indeed you have! It was a completely rhetorical suggestion. Can a suggestion be rhetorical? Anyway you get my meaning. Re: Challenge 771: Air apparent
Too late I tried again with the inflation sequence with the same result but then I thought of trying the 'Melt' deformer and it worked. Rendering it all out as I write this. ... and I have created the appropriate sound effect in Audacity. Watch this space ... _________________ Time flies like an arrow but fruit flies like a banana. |

David (et al) I have replaced the original with a revised video in the previous post showing the deflation. It was quite easy with just a small prick. _________________ If at first you don't succeed then skydiving is not for you. |

What fun! For those of you who enjoy recreational maths the balloon has become a Flatlander (look it up) .......... an understandable outcome for a man with his understanding of the real world.
I think I'm going to resist any comment here ........ _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

David what a complex piece of machinery! Brilliantly thought of. Loyd you have been very busy this week. I love the girl on the unicycle. And of course, the signature clown Gordon, that is absolutely wonderful. The lettering in particular is perfect. The gentle swaying movement is very accurate. Really well done. http://vimeo.com/357507016 _________________ Wicked Witch of the West:I'll get you, my pretty! And your little dog, too! |

Anna I am afraid your link doesn't seem to be working. It takes me to Vimeo fine, but then gives me the message "Sorry we couldn't find that page.". _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Thanks David. The red pick up is a die cast model. All I could find that was suitable. Shoo, everybody's been busy. Loyd, all those clips must have taken a spell. Lovely video Anna. Lovely touch with the waves in the back ground. _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

Ann I really like the slightly transparent plastic of your inflatables. Lovely lighting Ben. Mars is apparently ready to crush a casino in its search. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Ha! Yes, Mars plays rough, casinos, cars, etc.... in this case, they used their 'eraser brush' eradication beam to clear the landing area... |
