Re: Challenge 775: Overhead lighting
Great spin Anna... very entertaining!

I have no idea what the artist had in mind. Perhaps all the curved lines and the relationship of the unused 'plumb bob'. My initial thought was "hey, it's a plumb bob".

Just before the fall.

I am sorry Gordon but the opening, to my mind, does not live up to second part, which I like!

By the way, I interpreted the object as a spinning top. Does anyone have any idea what it actually is?

I'm sticking with my guess right at the beginning. I think it's a corroded buoy.

Lovely animation Anna. Not sure I understand it but very accomplished as always.

It is one hundred percent that in shape. Given the scale, it's a great leap of thought to arrive at this idea.

But it's wrong ............

.... and you know it ......

Happily that bit was done by someone else in the mid-sixties. But then, they didn’t have Photoshop or After Effects/Hit Film.

Re: Challenge 775: Overhead lighting
Lots of talk on what this object is? My thoughts, a spinner, a buoy, concrete piece from a retaining wall, - settled on a small space alien capsule.
Lots of very nice and well thought out entries - honourable mention to Tom's entry.
My theory:

The Sword in the Stone
That is a real surprise. As ever impeccably done.
