Challenge 790: The treehouse
I found this extraordinary tree in a park in Tenerife earlier this month. It is, I believe, a single tree whose branches have put down roots and grown additional trunks.

Something about the shapes here really made me want to build a treehouse in it, but the railings prevented me from getting at it (and I don't think the locals would have been too pleased).

Can you oblige?

High res is here.

Stunning tree. Looks like a Banyan or a Moreton Bay fig.

Very swank and ultra modern treehouse David, I'd be a bit concerned about privacy however.
How to acquire that treehouse that Steve wanted so bad without tearing down the fence?

It's modern Frank. Digital glass. Apply a small electric current and it goes opaque. Really does exist.

Love the animation. The swinging action is what really makes it ........ and that little puff of exhaust!

Frank, the movement of the crane complimented with the sounds is extremely realistic. Very well done.

Thanks David, in that case must get one for my back yard. Blended very well into the tree.
Thanks Anna, love your treehouse, wonderful presentation and effects.

Re: Challenge 790: The treehouse
It's been a hectic week this week so afraid I don't have time to participate but some good entries. It's a shame as we are in Centre Parcs and some of the cabins are called the tree houses. Quite spectacular but on stilts rather than in the trees. Oh and BTW I became a Grandad to boot so been dashing about quite a bit this week not to mention a big birthday.

...... and Micheal (Mariner) the primate just makes this for me. Stairway must have been quite a bit of work.
