It's looking good! It will be nice to see you all, especially the first timers.

It also has good wifi, so although the timing may be difficult it would be great if anyone from further afield was able to drop in via Skype.

If, on the day, you could send me a message when you are ready..I'd be happy to join in on Skype. Would be great to say hello to everyone!

Hi All,
Just seen this post and it just so happens that I have a meeting in London on the 20th so thinking about coming down from Newark Notts on the 19th if I can find a reasonably priced hotel. Will I recognise you all from your avatars? I guess Steve will be the one winking at all the ladies and Josephine’s the one in the swimming cap but as to Eggbox and Jota120 well that will be interesting. Hope to make it.

Hi Ant,

You could try one of the Premier Inns. They are good quality and, for London, remarkably good value.

There is one close to Euston Station and another tucked away on the South Bank between The Globe Theatre and London Bridge station.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Gordon

Ah - the best laid plans! I won't be able to make the Christmas 'do'. It is simply going to be too expensive. Everything else was ideal - date, time, location... Perhaps I should start saving now for 2013.

I am very disappointed that I won't get to meet you all. I hope you have an enjoyable get together, a very Happy christmas and a Peaceful New Year

Sorry to hear that Angela. If you somehow do manage to make it at the last minute you will be most welcome.

Hope you have a good Christmas and a happy new year.

Hi Sophie,

It's the George Inn about 50 yards south of London Bridge Tube and 150 yards from the Railway station arriving for 1 o'clock, although some of us will arrive around 1200 to grab a table or three.

See Steve's post a few posts back for link to a map etc.

Looking forward to seeing you again.

Gordon

Hi
Have a great get together and a wonderful Christmas, I have not shown my face here very often during this year. Will attempt to do better in 2013. Might even have a couple of days in London in mid June.
Best wishes for 2013.

We might just have to have a belated Christmas party if you do visit!

Merry Christmas and have a great 2013.

Dear Steve and my fellow HotChippers,

I am afraid that I will not be able to attend the Christmas party today.

I hope you all have a great time and a wonderful Christmas.

Its my resolution to be more involved in the forum in 2013, as I miss you crazy guys and gals.

Cheers
Vern

And most enjoyable it was too. A photo taken with just a few stragglers remaining. From left to right: Sophie, Eggbox, GKB, David Asch, Ant Snell, and Jota120 outside taking a photo on his proper camera (mine was taken using my iPhone).

I was looking forward to this Meet-up lunch greatly; however, I have come down with a flu bug, and sadly was not able to come. I was looking forward to meeting David asch, and the others too.

Here are some Christmas party themed off-topic images generated by the Kaleidoscopic image-generating program PSYCHEDELIC:
