I listened to some of that Josephine, but not all. Fascinating about the history of The George and the immediate area of South London. I can catch up on BBC iPlayer later while in UK. Note iPlayer gets blocked if not accessing form UK, well I mean specifically for TV, but I could access R4 radio while in e.g. China and Ireland, so hopefully most can access the R4 programme? I recommend. Funny how we see the same traits of human behaviour carry on now. |

Happy Christmas all who follow the tradition. Sometimes I just escape it e.g. climbing in winter, snow Isle of Skye, Scotland. E.g. Watercolour of Marco, with bit of filter/adjust from PS to get it here, but I prefer the real thing. Watercolour is translucent or opaque.... another story.... So my Seasons wishes !! 
In winter in Scotland; here the shortest days,t he sun very low and lots of cloud. I just had a small break in the clouds where the sun shone through highlighting Marco peak (Seagull in Gaelic) I climbed. The views from the top were amazing of the Cullin's ridge/peaks, lochs and sea. Climbing in Scottish mountains are dangerous especially in winter. |
