Need Help again.....
Hi all.. Sorry for being such a pain in the butt ... but I can't learn if I dont ask right? For the book owners.... page 53 "Back to Foreground" How do I get the part that I select with pentool (the fence) to be copied on to a new layer to go on top of farmer? Do I make path a selection then copy/paste to new layer or is there some other (better?) method I should use? Thanks again. |

The easiest way is to go to the Layer menu, pull down to New (first item) and then across to Layer via Copy. The keyboard shortcut is command/control J. Simple! And do feel free to ask any similar questions. Steve |

I have CS3 and when I select the fence, ( make the farmer invisible so I can see what I'm selecting) I go to Layer->New->layer via copy and I get lines only. When I make the farmer visible there are lines on top of the farmer. What am I doing wrong? |

Oops, I had the 'Subtract from path area' icon chosen instead of the 'Add to path area' icon. |
