Follow this link Vanishing Point, it showcases the new Vanishing Point tool in Adobe CS2. It is fantastic!

Now, I'll upgrade to OS X.

Grrr, bloody QT7 froze the Mac when I tried opening it - I wonder if it's a Firefox problem?

The voiceover is hilarious, it's like Agent Smith meets Jim Henson

Great tutorial though!

Re: You Gotta See This!
I think it's a definitely a Firefox problem as my Firefox froze too. So I just right-clicked and "Saved Link as" the file to my harddrive.

Thanks for sharing Neal that is a really great tutorial, illustrates the power of the Vanishing Point Tool very well, now I must go away and cry because I'm not going to get the pleasure of using these brilliant CS2 tools for a long long time yet.

Maiden, you're not alone. I think I'll get a paper route or stop eating and start doing my laundry in the sink. Anything to save money, so I can buy it.

That's Russell Brown, Adobe's very own "Nutty Professor". I've had a couple of classes with him at Photoshop World, and he's like that in person, too! He's a very bright and talented guy, but as you can see (or hear), a bit of a goof-ball.

I mentioned Russell Brown a while back, his tips page has some very good movies to download and good links to other PS tutorial sites. Well worth a visit (www.russellbrown.com)

I have no doubts Russell Brown is knowledgeable, but I personally find his "zany", egomaniacal classes to be style over substance. I attended one of his classes and found myself getting angry at his delusional belief that he was the Jim Carry of Adobe.

Fair point Paul, each to his or her own, however - like Mr Kipling he does give exceedingly good tips

Well, yeah very knowledgeable, but could he be more patronising if he tried??? I felt like I was 5 years old listening to that

BUT It is very helpful to have these tutorials online in realtime, like the videos on Steves CD, makes it a lot more easy for ppl like me.

I know all about the "RIBBON" of perspective now "OF MY RIBBON"

I agree Russ, while I appreciate this tutorial as a great insight into The Vanishing Point Tool I found the man completely annoying (and as you say, Russ) very patronsing. This is what I like to call my "Ribbon of Rant!"

Re: You Gotta See This!
Link is broken now. Wished I'd saved the videos whilst I had the chance.

Re: You Gotta See This!
That's a real shame seems to have removed the entire website - either that or the server is just borked.

I downloaded one of the vanishing point videos. I can put it up somewhere for you to download if you like. I don't think there is a copyright issue if I don't have a publicly available link to it.

Re: You Gotta See This!
Nah, thanks. I'd seen them already. It'd just be nice to have them saved for future reference should I want to see them again. There's no need for you to go through the hassle of uploading it for something I might not even see again .

Thanks though!
