a bit of history
hi i was reading an old book about ImageReady 2 and it mentioned that a good feature of this software is that you can work with layers, something that -- according to the author Photoshop 5.5 didnīt have... is that true? when did Photoshop started using layers? |

Layers were first introduced in Photoshop 3.0. _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

That's right. A long time before ImageReady, and PS 5.5 - are you sure you read this correctly? |

Re: a bit of history
you`re right! i got it wrong, ![]() and this is what the author says about ImageStyler: "The Layers Palette is used only for an object`s layers, a concept that Photoshop should adopt" and that still makes no sense to me, as the author is only showing some alternatives to design a webpage he doesn`t go deeper on the subject but again this book is from 2000 and these are old concepts, anyway thanks very much for your replies! (by the way I translated that quote from Spanish) |
