Caplin - I want my money back!!!
I have bought two editions of your book and learned a lot from them. I have also sat through your excellent seminars and you have been kind enough to give me some one-to-one advice afterwards (see my post in image doctor). All this good work has been undone by what you have done to my avatar! OK, I admit I may be just a tad overweight, but with my newly found skills this is simply not a problem - see the attached "before and after" self-portrait shot. I only did this as a learning exercise of course but guess which version this vain and egocentric reader uploaded as an avatar - the "after" version of course! What did your web site do to it? It stretched it to make me look just as fat as before! What is the point in you teaching us all these skills if you then go and do this to us??? I demand a full refund so I can pay to join a gymn!  |

Simple to fix, Duncan. The forum forces any avatar image to a square shape. If you crop yours to square first, you'll end up looking less chubby! Of course, if I really wanted to make you look fat...

Three comments:- 1 I suspected that a squre fromat might resolve the problem but did not bother trying it because I do so love to complain. I have now uploaded a quare version. 2 Your pixel-pushing attempt just demonstrates how little you know. Max avatar size is 20 kb and anyone can see that your edited version weighs more than that. 3 Re me investing in How to Cheat in Photoshop CS3........ FORGET IT! (Unless there is a chapter about how to revert me to (slightly enhanced) original. Oh yes, and another one about how to make a duncan look like Pierce Brosnan. |
