Hi Steve, Many thanks for the marvellous workshop, given by you this monday-afternoon. It was great. I'm going back now to your page 348, studying the 'Smart-Object'-item again. That grid, I did't not really understand. With regards, Hans. |

Glad you enjoyed it, Hans! As to the grid: I used that in order to see how the Mesh Warp transformation of the Smart Object would fit the shape of the can's surface. It's tricky distorting a grid to fit a curved surface, so do be patient with it. And if you get stuck, then post here and I'll do my best to help out. |

Thanks for your answer and help Steve. I understand the grid was not an essential within your explanation about Smart Objects. I return to your book CS2 for studying again about that. (And many other things; hesitating to buy your CS3). With regards, Hans. |
