Hi Steve,

Many thanks for the marvellous workshop, given by you this monday-afternoon. It was great.
I'm going back now to your page 348, studying the 'Smart-Object'-item again. That grid, I did't not really understand.

Glad you enjoyed it, Hans! As to the grid: I used that in order to see how the Mesh Warp transformation of the Smart Object would fit the shape of the can's surface. It's tricky distorting a grid to fit a curved surface, so do be patient with it. And if you get stuck, then post here and I'll do my best to help out.

Thanks for your answer and help Steve.
I understand the grid was not an essential within your explanation about Smart Objects.
I return to your book CS2 for studying again about that. (And many other things; hesitating to buy your CS3). With regards, Hans.
