i bought the book last week, and after i read couple of chapters i wanted to see the webpage, than suddenly i saw the book has new edition lol.. so i bought the 3rd edition.. should i be sad .. probably.. well i like the book anyways. it is fun to go on with it. i probably will get the new version too.. but couple of months later.. probably.. thanks for making a book so much fun. |

I'm not sure how to answer this. Are you currently using Photoshop CS2 or below than the 3rd Edition is fine. The 4th Edition just touches on the new features in CS3 that Steve couldn't leave out. So you should still be able to work along in the book and learn a number of things. |

Everything in the book for CS2 is still valid for CS3. Since you have this book, I would recommend you start there, and when you are ready you can grab the new book to go through the new features. |
