The book
Hi, I bought the book. I've been using Photoshop for a few years and I have bought SO many Photoshop books to teach myself all the skills for compositing and and I just wanted to say that this book is BY FAR the BEST PHOTOHOP BOOK EVER WRITTEN. I'm really really happy. I never review anything on Amazon but I'm going to go there right now and leave 5 stars . I always wanted to get good at compositing but other books have only really helped me draw from scratch or use blending modes and this shows you everything. THANKS SO MUCH . I hope you sell millions because it's also given me the confidence to go back to college and do a degree in Digital Media which is my dream.  |

Thanks guys. I think you'll probably be seeing more of me around here. I'm really looking forward to starting the degree although I'm doing a Foundation course first next year. However, I seriously wouldn't have applied If it weren't for the book. I mean I have some ideas about concepts and stuff but it was only going through this that I went 'ahhhh' and the technical skills clicked. There's a perfect balance of to the point explanations but the way Steve shows it it's really easy to apply which other books don't do so well. Before, I thought that being really good at Photoshop was (like drawing) some kind of innate ability but its really about working learning and applying the tools and practicing and this also makes me believe in myself with other art skills now too! I'm just going to really go for it now. |

Congragts, Pixelparlor!!! It's a fantastic opportunity to go to school and get the degree!! It's something I've wanted to do for quite some time. It's so inspiring that you're jumping in the arena and taking the courses. We would love to see some of your work!!
