How to Cheat in Photoshop CS4: call for entries
As some of you may have guessed, I'm just finishing off the next edition of the book for CS4. Plenty of new material here - but that's something I'll go into later, when the book is published (which looks like being round about January). Many of you will be represented through your Friday Challenge entries, of which I've included a few choice samples from recent weeks. In the CS3 edition, I included a folder full of forum members' images so that new readers could have a chance to work with new backgrounds, buildings, and so on. So here I am asking for the same again, for the new edition. If any of you have images you'd like to share with the wider world, please email them to me at c@plin.com, or use a facility such as yousendit, and I'll try to make sure they get on the DVD. Please note, though, that we can't include images of people without model release - after all, you don't know where these pictures are going to end up. Thanks to all who contributed last time around, and thanks in advance to those who want to contribute this time! Steve |

Hi Steve I would be glad to contribute. Can you advise what you are looking for in terms of backgrounds, i.e. urban shots, rivers, woodland, houses? Nick |

I'm looking for anything you think would be of interest! Size is largely up to you - a good variety of images is best. Sorry if this sounds vague, but I really want everything that readers could make use of in their work. |

By people you just mean if you can recognise them? If the face is partially blocked or you only see part of them is that ok? |

That's wierd.. I believe I remember Steve responding to us just a couple days ago. And it's now gone...same with another new post in the Useful Links forum, after my post?? Anyway, no problem Steve. I'll keep an eye out at the bookstores for the new book! |

Hmm... it's the missing post mystery again! Yes, the DVD is now finished. The book will be out early next year - more details nearer the time! |
