Brand Spankin' New
Hello everyone. I just bought HTCiP CS3 4th edition and really love it. I'm brand spankin' new to PS and must say that this is all overwhelming. I have a few other books that I'm working with, as well and I seem to be getting just a tad better. HTCiP has so many things I want to learn but it seems to be for the advanced PS user (I think it says that somewhere in the book...at least you need to already know some stuff). I'm determined, however, and will stick with it. I especially enjoyed the first 4 chapters or so which deal with basics. I learned a lot. I was wondering if Mr Caplin considers writing a book for the absolute beginner to PS? I would buy it in a NY minute. I also enjoyed the "Interludes" and wished there were more of them. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and hope to one day show you the work I've come up with. Rob from New York |

welcome to the forum! You will photoshop is not as complicated as you think! Read the book at the beginning and you will get there! cl&m&nt |

Yes. And play and practice and play again. I find its easiest to "learn by doing" with PS _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |
