CS4 & Mac Snow Leopard
I am in the process of updating my equipment, and have just purchased an 8 core Mac with 12 Gig of Ram. I am really looking forward to setting it up as I understand the new processor is supposed to be super fast. However, I have also been reading a number of reports of CS4 constantly crashing with Snow Leopard. When I asked the Apple guys NOT to install Snow Leopard be cause of my concerns but to instead install Leopard, they refused, even at the threat of me cancelling my order! They said it was company policy not to sell machines with older OS's on. I can understand this, but am concerned about the suspected constant crashes. The Apple store said they have had two major upgrades to Snow Leopard this year and there should be no more 'major' crashes. Has anyone here any experience of this problem, and if so could you advise please of what actions you have taken. For what it's worth I'm using CS3 with snow leopard and have had no problems. |

I just bought my Mac 2 months ago. I bought the Mac upgrade to CS4 extended and haven't had a problem yet. With any other program either. |
