how to post pictures in the Friday Challenge
Hi guys: could you please remind me how to post the picture in the Friday challenge? I completely forgot. The problem is that I am saving the picture as a .jpg (for the web) but the site keeps telling me it is too big, Please give me a good enough height, width and pixels for my pic.
Thank you

Hi Emy,

I normally reduce my jpgs to about 850 pixels on the longest side then save for web. Choose 'quality' figure that will give you just under 100k file size.

Hope that helps

Gordon

If you use Save for Web, under the FIle menu, you'll get a dialog that shows you exactly how big your file will be. You can reduce the image size and jpeg quality until it comes down to the right size.
