Lens Flares
Just found an app for Macs, iPads and iPhones. Which may be useful to some of you. It's called Lensflares. Basically it works similar to the lens flares in photoshop, except there are lots more and you can adjust them more as well. If you just open a black plain document in them and create your lens flare you can save it as a photoshop compatible file and then open in photoshop and paste it in to you and change the blending mode to get rid of the black. for the mac there are 2 versions the full one at £14 or the lite version at £2.99 which gives you around 70 lens flares. here is a link to the us app store so you can have a look. this is the lite version https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/lensflares/id616091878?mt=12 Simon |

Re: Lens Flares
This does look good. It appears that rather than simply placing the flare on top, it blends it into the image so that it appears to leak in front of shadowed objects and figures. Is this the case? Or have they been enhancing their results in Photoshop? |

Re: Lens Flares
I think there may be a bit of photoshoping done. but I tend to use it to create custom lens flares, by opening a blank document and then placing the lens flares on to it and playing with the adjustments. saving it as a jpg and opening it in photoshop, and changing the blending mode to screen to get rid of the black and then adjusting the layers |
