Something new or have I somehow missed this before?
Since re-installing my OS and subsequently re-installing Photoshop I have discovered a new behaviour I can’t recall ever having see before. If add a new curves layer adjustment and then go away and come back to it later and change it again my original curve remains visible unchanged as a reference until I have completed the new changes.
It makes perfect sense but I cannot remember it ever happening before. Is this something new to just the very latest release (which would mean I had never seen it before) or is there some setting somewhere that governs this behaviour that I never knew about? I’ve gone digging in both the Curves Dialogue settings and in General Settings but can’t find anything that turns it on or off. It’s not a problem, far from it, it’s quite useful, but I’m puzzled how or why I have never seen this before. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
