AT LAST !!!
At last my copy of the book has arrived. I had a quick look through it and from what I see it looks pretty good. The colouring of black and white images looks fantastic as does the unsharp mask and curves tutorial. Well done, Steve. I look forward to going through this edition !

Glad your copy arrived. I made the mistake of ording though Amazon. Since they did not ship my book and gave no indication when they might consider doing so, I canceled the order and placed a new order with FocalPress though elsevier. It's costing an extra $10 which is worth it to avoid the fustration with amazon. Hope mine turns up this side of christmas. I'm impatiently looking forward to it.

It's well worth the wait, as Paul will no doubt agree. There are some killer techniques - especially matching with curves. I haven't used Colour balance or brightness/contrast since! Hang in there, you won't be disappointed _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

I'm glad you're finding the Curves tutorials useful. As I said in the book, Curves is the most powerful adjustment tool of all, since it can replicate everything the others do with a much finer degree of control. But it's the hardest to get your head around... persevere! |

Ok, ok, ok !!!! Hold on a minute ..... I think the publisher is on some weird substance here! ... After all my moaning and groaning, my second copy just arrived this morning !! 
Yep, the new stuff is fantastic, Steve. I can't wait to give the Terminator tutorial a bash !

Those lovely people from Focal Press have said I can keep the second copy I got in yesterday .. Now how's that for customer support .. 
It appears from what I can see, the carrier made a bit of a mess with my initial order and not the publisher ! |
