idea on how to get perspective to fit
If you have a straight-on object that you want to adjust to a different perspective...
try making a new layer and linking it to the layer you want to transform.
make a rectangular selection of whatever dimensions that enloses the object.
fill that with red
set lower opacity so u can see whats going on
transform the rectangal to fit some area (assuming u can figure out a basic plane of perspective) with the distort tool
as long as you dont modify the area itself of the recangul too much, it should if linked transform the other, more complicated layer

no idea if that helps, if its new, or even if it always works...

probably if it is not straight on, if you can transform the red layer to fit the object better b4 linking them then it should work
