A nice little tip!
I just came across this tip on Photoshop Elements Techniques. If you quickly want to view a huge, multi-layered PSD file in PS/PSE. Hold Shift+Opt (Shift+Alt) and click Open in the file dialog. You'll be asked if you want to open it as a flat composite image instead. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

I use photoshop on an Apple powerbook .... dragging and dropping a multi-layer PSD file into 'preview' will also open it as a flat composite ... You can even select more than one file at a time, drag them to 'preview' and it will open them ALL and arrange them in a neat little window ... probably one of the few times my 'desktop' actually looks tidy .. Very true. The PS method would be useful if you want to incorporate a montage into another image without the hassle of loading, flattening and then copying (and remembering not to save it by accident!). _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
