Another shameless plug for my book
Don't know if you're aware, but my other current book - Dad Stuff - has been getting great coverage here in the UK. We (my co-author and myself) were on the ghastly chat show Richard and Judy yesterday, which is more or less our equivalent to Oprah. It's had the desired effect: amazon.co.uk rankings pushed to number one! Sure, it will probably have slipped by the time you read this - but today, at least, Dad Stuff is the best selling book in the UK. Cool! |

Very nice acclomplishment Steve! Well Deserved! 
As a matter of fact, last week I was researching what other books you have written...(hoping for a HTC webpage design...  ) And Dad Stuff came up as one of the hits. At first I didn't believe it was you but another author with the same name. After reading this post; however, I've realized that if your HTCIP book can get me out of the graphic design troubles I've been in....well...   ...how long would it take to ship Dad Stuff to US??  |

Tremendous stuff, Steve. Saw the book being plugged on the show and wondered where you were in all of this? We had just switched over to see the kid knocking eggs in glasses full of water on a table and I was dissapointed to learn that the glasses did not in actual fact contain photoshoped water with a displaced map background

Becky, you just missed me! And if only I'd thought of displacement maps it would have made the whole thing far easier! Chris, the book is to be released in the US in May, under the title Be the Coolest Dad on the Block. It's essentially the same book, with a few pages missed out - seems you guys don't have conkers, or cricket, or pubs. What do you do for laughs? Steve |
