A couple of questions about filters
Hi I'm hoping someone here can help me with a couple of questions I have on this site I found with loads of what look to be great filters, only before I spend all the money, I just wondered if they are actually as good as they look. The address is http://www.graphicxtras.com/index.html and I was thinking of getting the photoshop preset bundle Deal 2 and Andrew's Vector Plugins Collection (for Illustrator) .I want to do more pop art artwork and they look good.

Also I've heard of a filter company that someone recommended but when you use it, it doesn't look all that special. From http://www.lucisart.com . using the demo I don't know if it has all the features as the bought one does, it only shows the preview screen when you use it, but for $199 or $499 for the pro version looks like a very overpriced filter. Has anyone here used it.

Any advice would be really appreciated here.

Cheers
Phil

Re: A couple of questions about filters
Andrew's Vector Plugins are exactly what you need for pop art. But, as I've discussed with Andrew at length, they suffer from an interface designed by a technician. So as long as you're happy with the mathematics of transformations, you should be fine - but don't expect much visual feedback on what you're creating!

I hadn't come across the Lucisart set before, but it does look intriguing. Expensive, though, isn't it!

Right OK maybe I'll purchase the bundle 2 first and see what I can fathom out from them all. Yeah I would like more visual feedback really if I'm honest to well you know do some of the creating, I don't like to just press a filter button and call it art as anyone could do it.

Lucisart it does look okish yes, I just don't think it would be worth all that money, it'd have to do alot more. some of the filters are very similar as well as to what result you get.
