Hi, mikieo. Yes, graphics tablets do take a week or two to get used to. It's not like using a pen! But keep going with it, it's very much worth it in the long run.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome, Mike!

Glad I'm not the only one who's finding graphics tablets challenging!

Re: introduction!
Hi Mike,
I have been using Photoshop for years, and am pretty good with the mouse. Got a Wacom for Christmas, and I'm only now starting to feel comfortable with it. Part of the problem is of course remembering to use it. Good luck and welcom to the forum.

Re: introduction!
Thanks for the warm welcome - it's a nice friendly board here and I hope to contribute where possible. As for the pen - Is it best to set it up to double click when tapped on the pad or use the pen buttons... I'm having problems relating

Re: introduction!
Hi Mike, welcome to the forum!

Personally I have a 6 year old tablet that I only use for Photoshop work. So no special double click setup; I just tap twice when I need it; it also requires getting the hang of it as if you don't tap on the same spot, the double action does not register!

I develped a new trick... pen in the right hand and mouse in the left hand (no joke...I had a bad posture and my chiropractor suggested I tried that and it works!). Talk about ease of learning!
