Hello
Well, I've submitted two Friday challenges now, so I thought it was time I introduced myself!

I'm Kate and I live in Bath with my husband. I'm mildly disabled and work part time from home, so I have lots of time to play with Photoshop! I bought Steve's book in February and have spent many happy hours working through it (with a fair bit of swearing, but I got there in the end!). Before buying the book, I'd only used PS for cropping and rotating and the odd bit of very rough erasing, so I've learnt a lot in the past few weeks.

Since working through the book, I've become a total PS addict!

BTW, Look out for my daughter - I think I've persuaded her to join the forum as well! She doesn't have the book (she's a bit broke at the moment!), but she loves practising PS. If she joins, her username will probably be Celosia - her real name is Helen.

Re: Hello
Hi Kate and welcome to the forum. So you, too, have discovered the addictive nature of PS. Steve has a lot to answer for! I noticed on your latest post you say you really enjoyed this one! Enjoy is the watchword on this forum.

He does indeed! I looked at other PS books when I bought Steve's, but I chose his because he makes the projects fun!

Hello Kate and welcome to the greatest forum on the net! At least in regards to Photoshop! I live in Canada and for me living in a Bath is a strange thing! Where is that?

Haha! That might explain Kate's signature, too!

Welcome to the forum, Kate. As you will gather, there's a fair amount of lunacy to be found within these virtual walls!

Re: Hello
Too true, David! And that's the way I like it!

Pierre, Bath is a beautiful city in South West England!
