Re: CS3 image ready
Hi, vicho, Looks like it's integrated into the main program. I found the Animation palette under the Windows menu. I suspect it's all there, and that this is what has been extended in the - err, Extended version. Need time to look further, but I don't think we've been short changed |

Not at all. ImageReady's functionality has now been bundled into the main Photoshop app. In the Extended version, you can now open and edit regular movies frame by frame, add layers and even clone between frames. Excellent stuff! |

Will it be possible to buy and retro-fit the 'extended' bit or will you have to decide at the start? |

Yes. Extended is there already. The serial number you use to activate the software determines its flavour. _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

Re: CS3 image ready
Just the same as cloning between regular layers (or images). You can set the clone source to one frame then paint it into another. _________________ Leap and the net will appear |

Re: CS3 image ready
Vicho, I think you'll rapidly learn to love the ImageReady bits, especially if you do web stuff. You can create whole websites without ever leaving Photoshop (not that I'm saying that's the best way to do it), including animated rollover buttons and image maps. You can also create animated GIFs, which is a lot of fun if nothing else. It's great! Have you checked out 'tweening' yet? |

sure Dave, iīv tried tweening! having an application where you have major control over design and at the same time your able to layout a website..well thatīs awesome!! so far i use photoshop for design & retouching and to export images for web, itīs easy and i use ImageReady when it comes to create animations and rollovers maybe itīs time to try all of this stuff in photoshop now! |
