curiosity about previous edition
hi Steve this is just pure curiosity... i have the Spanish version of HTCHIPS CS 2, (actually reading that book is how i found out about this site) and noticed that a lot of the dialog boxes in the screenshots appear in Spanish, how´s that possible? i mean, do you have photoshop in Spanish version also? just wondering....  |

The Spanish edition was created by the Spanish publisher, who translated all the material - including the dialogs. They also used their house style for the layout, which in my opinion is rather clumsy compared to the one I designed. But glad to see they went to the trouble of fixing the dialogs! |

I have copies in Chinese and Russian, as well as Spanish. The Russian one is the second edition, and they've taken the trouble to translate the cover into Russian - including the neon text at an angle above Bogart. Cool! There's also a secret UK English edition, using words like 'colour' and 'grey', but only I have that one. |
