Cheap Stylus & Tablet Available on Monday (UK)
We have just received a pamphlet from Netto Supermarkets, which details some of their forthcoming bargains, including a PC Stylus / Tablet for £20. Details are sketchy, and according to the small write up, it is compatable with Windows and PCs, no mention of Macs (but I can't see why it shouldn't be?). These are available this Monday in store, and are probably very limited quantities. Whilst I doubt that it will be as good as most on the market, and probably doesn't have pressure sensitivity etc (but who knows, it might), it would be ideal for anyoe who is tempted to try a cheap versions of Pen Tablet setup before spending big bucks on a fancier unit. It would also be great for those of you who have younger children intersted in Photoshop etc, where you are nervous about letting them loose on your state of the art Tablet! Perhaps a Christmas or Birthday present for that budding young PC artist? As I mentioned earlier, stocks of this type tend to be limited, so I would recommend going Monday Morning if you want one. Hi biker just to let you know i actually bought one of these when i parked in netto carpark the other week. They seem ok as a unit, typical good quality german made no less. Only one problem with the installer is that by default it totally removes all other wireless devices, ie wireless network adaptors and wireless keyboards/mice and you cant do anything about it. Not the best solution really, but the unit is pretty good. JJ |
