Greetings!
I kind of stumbled across this site last week and I am thrilled that I have! I am currently using Creative Suite 2 and I just love working in Photoshop. Alot of my work projects require me to learn new aspects of the program on an almost daily basis. I know... lucky me!  But learning is a great deal of fun.
I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love to be creative. So I think I would enjoy hanging around these forums for a bit so I can absorb the knowledge of those much, much better than I. Hi Fyre and welcome. Glad you have found the forum. Have a good time exploring the various parts. The Friday Challenges are a really good way of practising things you have learnt and learning by your mistakes. Learning by your mistakes really is the best way to learn. Steve is a generous critical friend of our submitted efforts with a great eye for detail. Once he has pointed something out with an image I have posted (e.g. wrong perspective, misplaced shadow etc.) it really does help me with future projects, and once it has been pointed out it seems so obvious! However it doesn't always stop me making the same mistake again sometime later. Nice avatar by the way. Cheers Vern |
