Request for use of files
Hi Steve, I have two of your books, HTCIP CS2 and 3. I have taken part in the Friday Challenge a while back. I have been asked to teach a new course on Digital Graphics as part of a Level 3 (equivalent of A Level) Vocational IT qualification. It involves some creating of images using photoshop, coreldraw and paint shop pro to place either in an MS Publisher 3-6 page document or possibly a powerpoint slideshow. There is always a shortage of suitable images to use due to copyright. Would I be permitted to make use of the Hemera and Adobe Stock photos that came with your books? The end product would be printed for the students' portfolios at the end of this academic year. Sophie |

No problem as far as I'm concerned, Sophie - but the licences I obtained from Hemera (who no longer publish Photo Objects) and photos.com (I think you mean them rather than Adobe) specify that the images are for personal use. When you say they'll be printed for students' portfolios, I think this falls into the category of acceptable use. So sure, go ahead and use them! Thanks for asking. I'd love to see the end results.
