300th Challenge... any ideas?
Next week sees the 300th Friday Challenge, and I admit I have no idea about a suitable challenge to mark the occasion. In the past we'd had retrospective round-ups, where members put as many past Challenge entries as they can into a single image; we've even had prize-winning contests, but they have produced a tiny number of entries - and go rather against the spirit of co-operation rather than competitiveness. Does anyone have any bright ideas for a suitable topic? |

A cover for your next book A cover for our own book A greating card, for celebrate (300 challenge, ça se fête) A free challenge, for celebrate all what we've learn with you (and with us) Une parodie de tes tutoriaux (tu as un style bien précis, on peut le détourner) Une image qui ferait passer une émotion (tristesse, joie, colère), et faire deviner aux autres ce qu'on voulait communiquer Une photo de toi qu'on pourrait détourner, maquiller, transformer afin d'expliquer la place qu'HTCIP a pris dans notre vie (pour ma part, une grande place!) Une image de nous tous réunis dans un endroit déterminé Une image de ce que chacun a vécu comme un moment très particulier (naissance, nouveau job, nouveaux espoir) .... En encore tant de choses!!!!! _________________ Mais je me connais, je lâcherais pas l'affaire.... Je vais piquer de grève comme on pique une colère... Plus têtue que tous les vieil homme et la mer... Pour que continue le combat ordinaire! |

Hhmmm...i'm not really good on new ideas but perhaps we can make a poster advertisement to promote your book and this forum. Or perhaps no starting image then we can make an object made from scratch? Similar to those in your 100% Photoshop book. And,....i'll think for more ideas.... _________________ left-brain invention! |

Is it really 300 already? How about the box art for CS6? .......and if Adobe decides that one of the entries is good enough to use they give the designer a free copy of CS6? _________________ Why isn't 'phonetic' spelled the way it sounds? |

My thought is subject "learning to fly" as in the metaphor. We all learn here..... we fly, we crash a little bit, metaphorically, but we all fly together. I don't know where we are going, but I enjoy the path we take. Here some music links but the best one was Beijing primary school which I do not have copy of  They are learning to fly, don't know where. [Like us. But I'm always positive and it never hurts  apart from pain, which can suffer for all and that not any religion just honesty from little Trev

Nice. it works. You did that with just one camera and two exposures? Did your cat's ear move between shots? There seems to be a vertical displacement in that area. I tried using some old vintage stereo photographs from the internet and merging them into an anaglyph image. It worked well. I've not tried taking any photos yet with a view to doing this. (I am struggling with my text above now. It's a bit hard for me to get the 3d effect at first.) EDIT: Spurred on by your cat I tried one myself. Done hand held with an iphone in a rather poorly lit and extremely bare cupboard.  |

hey that's great. Not sure on cats ear, he was sound asleep, it's probably me taking picture at different height, wrong angle on the second exposure. |
