The Full Montage - June 2011 update
I've just completed an update to thefullmontage with a set of new readymade images of books and magazines standing up - very tasty.

You'll also find a selection of desert backgrounds from my recent trip to Morocco, as well as more everyday people (a smoking woman and a television cameraman) and plenty more skies and backgrounds.

I've also included some useful new objects - lit carriage lamps, a stone plinth and a wooden packing crate, all from a wide range of angles to fit your montages. The packing crate was most useful to me: the day after I photographed it, I had a job that involved a World War 2 bomber pilot standing next to... a packing crate! Synchronicity, or what?

You can view all the new items here:

Steve quick question the link to thefullmontage no longer works. Has the site been taken down or moved would be such a shame for people to miss on this great resource. I have a friend who is just getting into using Photoshop and is creating a book and pre-cutout images would have been a big thing for him.

Love Becky (sorry long time no see xx)

Hi, Becky - good to see you here again.

I closed thefullmontage last summer, rather reluctantly, because it was costing me more than it was making. It was partly the rather expensive private server I was leasing (so those large downloads would be faster), and partly that as a limited company I was having to file tax returns for it and ended up with big accountancy fees.

I suppose I need to find a way to make all the material freely available, since I've put the work in so might as well go that route. I just haven't had the time to put that into operation.

I also thought thefullmontage was a good idea - but it seems you and I were in the minority!

I found thefullmontage most helpful. I have many items from it, and was very disappointed a few days ago when I tried to visit it for some more images. Yes, it would be good to have access to the other images again.

Thanks for all the trouble you took to set it up, Steve. I certainly appreciated it.
