Notification Emails

I have absolutely no idea what to do about this, I'm afraid. The Forum software was made by a guy called Daan who hasn't updated it in about six years. Sorry not to be more helpful! |

Same here Anna. Steve , without sounding rude, but it would be good to have an updated site maybe?  Maybe some fancy one where latest uploads can be seen on the home page?, after all we are designers!

Yes notifications stopped for me too. I don't mind. But that is just me. I just come back and check the dates for your contributions. Artwell of course valid point. I like it being clunky |

I have looked at other forum solutions over the years, but have never found any with the simplicity and elegance of SimpleForum. David Asch used to try to persuade me to use others, such as phpbb forums, but then he found those just get inundated with spam... in all the years the Forum has been running, we've had just one spam entry. David has since switched to SimpleForum for his How to Cheat in Photoshop Elements forum! I like the idea of latest uploads being seen on the front page, but frankly I have no idea how to get them there. I'm not a web technician, as you've probably guessed by now. Artwel, are you offering your services? Will try to check out the notifications thing to see if it's as simple as a switch somewhere. |

Anna - I don't know if this is relevant, but you've set up 512 email notifications. It could be that this is the maximum the system can handle, and it certainly seems too precise to be coincidence. I've deleted a chunk of them, so let's see if you start getting notifications again. |

You are probably right Steve, simple is safest. I am also clueless about web design, which is a shame as this would be a great opportunity!
