on Mac ...key commands
.. just got the cs5 book.. and stuck on the first exercise. Before I spend too many hours going nuts... I find on the first wheel of first exercise the shift alt... does NOT do the elliptical it does circle. However, simply using alt does the job. then on the next selection I am in trouble again. Are my preferences a problem? Is there a guide for Mac users |

I think you might just be misreading the key command symbols. As it says in the key on the bottom right of the page, the red commands are for Mac, the blue ones are for Windows. The first symbol is the Option key, otherwise known as the Alt key, on a Mac keyboard. I think this is the one you might be mistaking for the Shift key. Hope this helps. |
