A lucky find
We have a charity warehouse ( yes it is actually a warehouse ) near us, the idea is you find something you like and leave a donation on your way out.
My wife likes to rummage and I normally wait in the car with my e reader. A while ago she found a book for me, How to Cheat in Photoshop third edition, unread, unmarked and with the cd still sealed inside the back cover.
I'm amazed someone would buy it then not even look at it.

That's now a collector's item! Glad it's found a good home at last.

Re: A lucky find
Haha, about the same goes for me. I got acquainted with Steve in 2010 after buying his book and CD in a little charity shop at my hometown Delft. It was the second 2004 edition. Although I had read and used a few books about version 5.5, 6 and CS, from that moment on I discovered a new consideration using Photoshop. After working with Steve's book I said to myself: "I knew a lot about the inside of a clock, but now I'll learn to read the time".

Wow - that's a fantastic quote! I may have to use that one on the back cover!
