Camera raw 8.5
I have updated to Photoshop 2014, downloaded Camera Raw and DNG converter, but Both lightroom,bridge and PS are still using Camera Raw 8.4. Any suggestions? _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Hi Vibeke, When I downloaded PS CC 2014 it came with ACR version 8.5 The creative cloud app also gave me the option of updating my previous PS CC to include ACR 8.5 Remember that PS CC 2014 is installed as a separate program to PS CC so make sure that you are opening CC 2014 then accessing ACR 8.5 from it I looked at the update notes for Lightroom 5 and I couldn't see ACR 8.5 engine mentioned (only bug fixes and new camera profiles) so I haven't updated Lightroom yet so I don't know if the new ACR engine is included but suspect it is not yet. _________________ "The true story of a real fake" Catch Me If You Can |

Thanks, I might try downloading it again, my copy definitely have 8.4, and whenever I export from lightroom to PS it tells me I need 8.5, but I can't see any options in PS to update it. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Finally got it sorted, by deleting Lightroom and Photoshop and re-installing. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
