Just been playing around with this Beta PS. It's clear that Adobe are going flat out for AI. You can create directly from the new document dialogue. Remove background now has a create background option that will provide a new colour and density matched background automatically. You can choose to rework specific AI variations with more precise instructions and even upload images of your own for it to match. I could open an image of Steve, provide an image of a ballet tutu, select his trousers and it will dress him using my provided image as an example. (I promise not to Steve!!) The new adjust brush (which seems to me a solution looking for a problem) has new bells and whistles as well. Soon we won't be needed. Gordon will be able to sit Rags at the keyboard and relax with a glass of wine while Rags does the challenge for him. The good news is that, after storms of complaints, installing the Beta no longer co-opts and changes all your file associations and double clicking a PS file will still open it in your release version of Photoshop. I spoke too soon. It started off fine but now, suddenly, everything opens in the Beta and I have had to uninstall it. I know it's perfectly normal for any PS update to reset file extensions to the latest version and that's normally very helpful but, given that Adobe advise us specifically not to use the Beta for regular work, it would be much better if Beta installations left file associations with the release version and ran in isolation.
