hollow text
Hi Steve Is it possible to make text "hollow" (for lack of a better word) and then have different photos pasted inside of each individual letter? Probably not saying this in photoshop speak, but I have seen this done with matt board cut in letter shapes spelling out a word (for instance: Happy Birthday) and then these letters are filled with photos. Thought this would be fun to do in Photoshop but can't find anything similar in your book or the help files. Thanks.....Becky |

Re: hollow text
This is very simple. First, create your text. Then bring in each photo and press control-G to group it with the text layer (in CS this is called making a Clipping Layer). The photo will only show up where it overlaps the text beneath. You can scale it as you like, and you may need to add a layer mask to each photo so it doesn't overlap the letter next to it. |

No, not stupid at all. The most obvious things can be the hardest to find. |
